My New Photoblog using Pixelpost and fate of DWM

This is my new photoblog which I published using an interesting tool call Pixelpost. Pixelpost is a script like WordPress but only specialize for photoblogging. So we won’t find a complete blogging features like in WordPress. I love it the first I found it few weeks ago. And now I own my own photoblog.

If anybody wish to have a blog only for pictures, this is an absolutely appropriate tool.

Installation was very easy. First create database, then just run the installation script. It was so easy unless problem occur during database creation.

I did mention about database did I? Only for those who bought hosting can setup database. Which means I already have my own hosting. However Days Without Miracle is still alive well here just waiting a few days for official closing.

My new domain, I think you can figure out yourself. I won’t officially announce it until the new blog is launch.

The fate of Days Without Miracle? I guess when it’s first year birthday, it will found it’s oblivion(Is the word is too cruel?). But till then, I still have a few unfinished business here at DWM. So please stay with me.

Support Them Too

I got three real life friends which I can say just started blogging…I wish my readers to support them too.

  1. Away From Home by Rizalo
  2. Airilines by Airi
  3. SALAM by NikAzhar

Unlike me whose already tried blogging for years and failed countless times, these people are all (I guess) first time blogger who actually never do blog before. So please give them some encouragement and hope. So they can feel the blogging addiction A.S.A.P.

These are some of peoples that I persuade to blog. What they write and what they’re up to I am not sure. They write about games, politics, general, and some funny post.

Please drop comments or just simply visit them just to give them impression that someone drop at their site…in my experience…it really motivate me… 🙂

I am just doing “Do what you want other to do unto you”… Thank you..

The Demise of Days Without Miracle

There are two thing that we don’t know when do they really happen. When do the exact point of time do they happen. The first is when do we begin to fall asleep and the second is when do the fall of civilizations begin. Both seems to sound funny when I first heard them because they are two really different things. However by time I keep thinking about the phrase and it becomes something so real and serious.

(I got this from a lecturer of mine a few years ago. He was a kind of lecturer that always give a short inspirational thoughts before giving the real lecture in class. I really miss his class. It was really fun attending his class for he was funny and insightful.)

So what’s with the title? “The Demise of Days Without Miracle”

Updates have been scarce and activity here have been stagnant. I am suggesting that maybe my beloved “Days Without Miracle” have come to its end. I know it’s my fault. But I don’t really have the feeling to blog these few days. Provided the internet connection that praiseworthy “so fast”(means slow), I have been failing even to put comments on my own blog not to say others.

It’s actually not yet the exact demise, the time will be unknown. I will try to keep it alive to the end. So sad that I am feeling this way when Days Without Miracle not even reach a year of age. When around this time many of my friends who were a bitter critics of blogs have be a blogger themselves after I persuaded them.

A blogger friend of mine once told me “Rome wasn’t built a day”. Sorry, my Days Without Miracle ain’t Rome or China or Egypt or Aztec or even Singapore or Majapahit. I sounds like a faint-hearted guy. I have always plans in my mind. It’s all been written in my blogs before. A demise might be just a feint, maybe it’s a metamorphosis into something better.

So sad that whatever my plan is…I still so dependent to my internet speed performance.
